The Stamford Fire Department was formed in the 1980's.  Several members have served for the Honor Guard for more than two decades.

1916: A Stamford Parade

This is most likely the Memorial Day parade, but it could also be the parade to kick of the Elks Carnival. The view is of Main Street, heading towards the Central Station near Elm Street. Moyes Billiards and the Hotel Carlton can be seen on the left.
