1978-09-30: 3-Alarm Arson Fire at the Ambassador Arms Apartment Building on Washington Blvd

A 3-Alarm fire struck the abandoned Ambassador Arms Luxury Apartment building on the night of September 30, 1978.   As was common with many fires of this time period, arson was suspected.  Ambassador Arms stood at the corner of Washington Blvd and TResser Blvd, where the Advocate Newspaper building also once stood.
