An empty Cedar Street warehouse went up in flames, spreading to two homes, two garages and at least seven vehicles before it was put under control. No injuries were reported. The fire began at a warehouse at 45 Cedar St. at 1:45 p.m..

The warehouse was destroyed. One of the multi-family homes was 90 percent destroyed, and damage to the other was limited to the attic and siding. Five cars and a van parked behind the warehouse were destroyed, and a moving truck parked across the street was damaged.

Five engines, two ladder trucks, one rescue truck and 34 firefighters fought the blaze.
