This 750 GPM Mack pumper was received on October 2, 1962. It replaced the 1942 Mack Pumper.

It responded to its first alarm on October 19, 1962. It was a still alarm for a rubbish fire at the rear of Stamford High School at 6:22 PM. The Engine was known as the “#1 Mac”. The crew assigned to it for its maiden voyage was:
